About Standard Federal (Formerly Michigan Bankard Services)
The new name AAMS is from ABN Amro Merchants Services.
Since we first opened our doors more than 100 years ago, we have maintained
a tradition of growth. Today, Standard Federal is a nationally chartered
bank with $37.2 billion in assets and $21.4 billion in deposits (as of
June 30, 2001). Headquartered in Troy, Michigan, Standard Federal is the
nation's sixth-leading originator and tenth-leading servicer of home mortgage
loans. Standard Federal offers a complete range of retail and commercial
banking products through 302 branches and 950 ATMs in Michigan, Indiana
and Ohio. ABN AMRO Bank N.V., the parent of Standard Federal Bank, is
headquartered in The Netherlands. ABN AMRO is the world's thirteenth-largest
bank with total assets of more than $500 billion and over 3,500 offices
in more than 70 countries and territories. The American Depository Receipts
(ADRs) of ABN AMRO are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the
